From the Barn to the ER
A Dairy Wife on a Mission to Save Lives
After years in the ER and life on a dairy farm, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when farm accidents strike- now, I’m making sure you’re prepared before they do.
Does This Sound Like You?
You run a farm or agriculture business and know safety should be a priority—but there’s never enough time to tackle it.
You’re a farm wife or parent who wants peace of mind knowing your family is prepared for the unexpected.
You’ve seen or experienced a farm emergency and never want to feel that helpless again.
You train or manage farm employees and want to make sure they know how to respond when seconds count.
You are an educator or extension agent who wants to bring farm safety training to your community
You are part of a cooperative or agriculture organization that values safety and wants to equip members with life-saving skills.
If so, you’re exactly where you need to be.

A Dairy Farmer’s Wife, An ER Nurse, and a Mission to Protect Farmers
I’ve spent my career as an ER nurse, treating the worst of the worst—life-threatening injuries, trauma cases, and far too many farm accidents. But I’ve also spent my life as a dairy farmer’s wife, watching firsthand how dangerous agriculture can be. I know what it’s like to hear about yet another farm injury and wonder, What if they had been prepared?
In agriculture, our community is tight-knit. When tragedy strikes, it doesn’t just make the news—it hits home. I’ve seen friends, neighbors, and local farmers come through the ER doors after devastating farm accidents. And I’ve felt that sinking feeling, knowing that with the right tools and training, some of those outcomes could have been different.
After seeing too many preventable tragedies and realizing there wasn’t a farm emergency kit that met our needs, I decided to do something about it. I created my own. And from there, my mission grew—to educate, equip, and empower farm families and agriculture businesses to be ready before disaster strikes.
Now, I combine my experience in emergency medicine with my deep roots in agriculture to help people like you make farm safety a priority.
Let’s make sure you’re prepared—before you need to be.

Fun Facts From The Farm
On a lighter note, let's get to know each other better. Below are some fun facts about me!
Being a Mom is my absolute favorite title and I’m raising a farm boy who thinks any tractor is way cooler than toys.
I grew up in Canada, where winter lasts too long, but somehow fell for a Virginia dairy farmer and traded snowbanks for silage piles.
Technically, I only get a “real” birthday every four years so I like to think that just makes me forever young.
I can’t help it, whether I’m at the store, a family gathering or event, I instinctively scan for the best veins. If you’ve got a good one, just know I’ve noticed.
